We are happy to invite you to the next event of “The 12 Colours of The Hague: The Next Generation” on August 22! The series of 12 Colours Projects form part of One Young World The Hague’s efforts to bring the OYW spirit to the city and get those in touch with it whom may not be able to attend the actual conference in October.
During this event we will attempt to creatively address questions such as: What role does the youth play in improving their environments? How can the youth mobilise themselves as a force for good? These and more questions will be explored by several young leaders. However, we would like to offer a podium for everyone who has affection with the theme’s ‘education’ and ‘empowerment’. There is open registration to provide your insights to these questions in whatever medium you prefer, be it dance, be it music, make it yours! If you would like to contribute to the event, send us a message via Facebook with a rough outline of what you would like to discuss and in what medium.
After their (and maybe your) inspiring takes on these themes we will all contribute to a time-capsule where we will all voice our hopes for our cities, neighbourhoods, the world around us 25 years from now. Afterwards, we will have drinks at the Leiden University College’s very own Coasters (Student bar) where we can discuss these topics at further length (drinks will be at your own cost).
Hope to see you there to discuss the Next Generation!
